OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - If you have a U.S. or State flag that needs to be disposed of properly the Wapello County Republicans are providing a flag disposal service to the community this Saturday, May 16.

For the 18th year, the Wapello County Republicans are hosting this in order to allow the community to respectfully dispose of their flag that is no longer suitable for flying.

If you have a flag that is tattered or torn, you can bring it to the Ottumwa 2020 Republican Office located at 625 Pennsylvania Ave on Saturday, May 16, from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

For those who do turn in an old flag, they will receive a discount coupon from O’Hara Hardware to replace that flag and their name will be in a drawing for an Iowa Flag flown over Iowa Capital.
