Authorities looking for missing work release inmate from Burlington

BURLINGTON, Iowa (KYOU) - Authorities are asking the public to be on the look out for a missing inmate. The Iowa Department of Corrections says 25 year old Jacob Andrew Rauscher failed to report back to the Burlington Residential Facility on Friday, June 26th.

Rauscher was convicted of kidnapping in Wapello County. He is described as a white male, 5′10″ and weigh 169 pounds. He was admitted to the work release facility in May of this year.

Anyone with information his whereabouts should contact police.
