Hard to do much better than this

OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - Really, take advantage of today’s weather as you can’t ask for much better to kick off the month of August.
Highs reach the low 80s with reasonable humidity levels this afternoon. Expect a mix of sun and clouds at times, but overall an excellent day ahead. Sunday is a bit different, though, with a return of showers and storm chances. Activity will remain scattered, but some spots could pick up a tenth of an inch or two.
The first half of the week looks to be on the cool side, with low to mid 70s for highs and mid 50s for overnight lows. Get ready to give the air conditioner a break!
