Wapello County Recorder’s office has resumed accepting passport applications

OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) -The Wapello County Recorder’s office has resumed accepting applications for passports. 

You can now apply for routine service and expect to receive a passport in 10-12 weeks.

You also have the option of paying an additional $60 for expedited service to receive your passport in 4-6 weeks. 

The Recorder’s office accepts applications for new passports as well as renewals. 

Passport photos are taken on-site as well.  At this time, we are encouraging appointments which can be made by calling 641-683-0045. 

Applications are accepted Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
