OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - Don’t expect to find a lot of sunshine in the area today as clouds should hang around for most of it.

Showers could develop in our Missouri counties later on today into tonight, but the vast majority of them should stay south of the Iowa-Missouri border. Expect highs today in the upper 40s with generally light winds, giving our day a very typical late November feel.

Sunday beings a weak cold front, which could generate some isolated showers along it. The bigger change will be somewhat breezier conditions later in the day.

The next best chance of rain arrives Tuesday into Wednesday, with some decent totals possible for some areas. After that, the end of the holiday week looks decent with mild temperatures and dry conditions.
