OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - A weak front will drag across the area today, bringing only a slight chance for an isolated shower today.

If any rain occurs, amounts will be very light. After the front moves through, expect skies to clear this afternoon. However, the increase in sunshine will come with a modest increase in wind, with northwesterly winds between 10-20 mph possible. Still, highs reach the low 50s.

A more significant storm system moves in Monday night, and affects the area through Wednesday. A good amount of rain looks likely with this system, with 0.50″ to 1.50″ possible before things wrap up. Fortunately, it appears that it should be warm enough for everything to fall as rain.

Thanksgiving still looks reasonable at this point, with dry conditions and above normal temperatures.
