Tattoo Parlor offers tattoo time raffle in exchange for toys
OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - The local tattoo parlor “Dedicated to the Ones I Love” is raffling away tattoo time in exchange for toys.
The tattoo parlor will accept any donated toys with a minimum of 20-dollars.
Then your name goes on a ticket, and Christmas day the owner will have one of his kids pull out a name.
The winner will get those six hours of tattoo time.
Each toy of 20-dollars is worth one ticket.
All toys go to Ottumwa Drug Court for kids in recovering families for drug addicts.
The owner, Joel Garcia, says he wants to help the kids who otherwise might not get anything for Christmas.
”As a drug addict, people are dismayed in their thought process and financial process...a lot of times the kids suffer. I just want to help with that. It helps the children. They don’t have to have too much of a loss.”
Garcia says they’re still under quota for toys, and hopes to have many more toys to give the kids by Christmas.
