Republican Adrian Dickey wins special election

OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) -The results are in from the special election to find the next state senator for District 41 in Iowa.
Republican Adrian Dickey defeated Democrat Mary Stewart by 5040 to 4074.
The special election was held after now Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks resigned after being declared the winner for Iowa’s 2nd congressional district.
