OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - More scattered showers will be a possibility through the overnight and daytime hours of Thursday. The more intense showers and storms are long gone, but occasional rain will be found. Expect cooler temperatures, too, with lows in the upper 40s and highs only in the mid 50s.

Fortunately, the area of low pressure causing this unsettled weather moves on by Friday, with clouds eventually moving out as well. This should allow our temperatures to sneak into the 60s once again.

Saturday looks a bit wet again, with showers possible and cooler temperatures. But, that setback is temporary, with a temporary warm-up to follow on Sunday into the 60s with sunshine.

Next week, our pattern shifts a bit to drop temperatures just below normal for mid-April.
