OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - Expect another day with a summer-like feel to it to wrap up the weekend, with temperatures into the 80s yet again. The good news is that winds will be a little lighter, in terms of our afternoon wind gusts.

Later tonight, showers and storms that develop off to our northwest will slide into the region, arriving after midnight and more likely closer to daybreak on Monday. Then, as a cold front moves through later in the morning into the early afternoon, more scattered showers and storms could take place. Highs will be about 10 degrees or so cooler on Monday.

Then, they drop further on Tuesday, only reaching the upper 50s. Rain will be possible again, especially south of the Iowa-Missouri border.

Some warming is possible toward next weekend, along with another chance for showers.
