Jefferson County Health Department announces final clinic day

FAIRFIELD, Iowa (KYOU) - The Jefferson County Public Health Department has been administering the covid vaccine since December of last year.

Christine Estle, who is the Public Health Administrator announced in the Board of Supervisors meeting this week that May 7th will be their last clinic.

“Now if things change and there’s a big demand in vaccines again, or we see that we need to offer something differently, we can go back and revisit that, but right now Friday is our last clinic.”

Additionally, she says via Facebook that the clinic will be administering the J&J vaccine through appointment only on Friday, May 7th as well.
