JBS in Ottumwa offers free meat in exchange for a vaccine

OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - JBS is offering an incentive in exchange for a vaccine.

On Saturday, July 17 Wapello County Public Health will be collaborating with JBS in Ottumwa for a community vaccination clinic.

Pork loins will be handed out to anyone who receives a vaccine.

Wapello County Public Health Clinical Director, Lynelle Diers, says names will be put in a drawing for an additional grand prize.

“In addition to receiving a free pork loin, JBS is going to put everyone’s name into a drawing, that is vaccinated, for an opportunity to win one year’s supply of free meat.

The clinic will be held at The Bridge View Center from 10 am to 2 pm.

Diers says you can sign up at Walk-ins are accepted as well.
