Construction has started along 4th Street in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Iowa (KYOU) - Construction will take place affecting several streets within the city.
The streets affected are 4th Street, Broadway, Grimes, and Depot.
Roads are expected to be blocked off for one month.
According to City Engineer, Melanie Carlson, the reason being is for water line work along with sanitary sewer installation.
