Dog ordinance revisions at Bloomfield city council meeting
BLOOMFIELD, Iowa (KYOU) - Thursday night Bloomfield’s city council met to discusses the revisions of the dog ordinances.
During the meeting, the city council announced they have not finalized the dog ordinance and will post a draft online soon for the public to read.
There were a few areas that needed to be cleared up in regards to shock collars and fences and how an owner would receive a fine if the dog escaped its yard.
Once the draft is posted there will be two more meetings about the ordinance before it is finalized.
