Fairfield residents share thoughts on bond issue
FAIRFIELD, Iowa (KYOU) - Jefferson County residents voted on a bond issue that involves whether to allow the building of a new proposed facility for the middle school and other additional improvements.
Tim Britton, a resident says he’s happy to help aide in bettering the future for children.
“I think it’s wonderful that we are in a position to be in a community that does have this infrastructure that goes beyond our little scope of a few years here and we get to participate in something that goes way beyond us,” says Britton.
The voting polls closed at 8 pm on Tuesday, September 14.
