Van Buren County Public Health reports 11 new positive cases in the past 24 hours

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Iowa (KYOU) -Van Buren County Public Health reports 11 new positive cases in the last 24 hours and 51 positive cases in the last 14 days.

The department says its 14-day positivity rate for Wednesday is 13.9%.

In a Facebook post, Van Buren County Public Health says it has walk-in vaccination clinics every Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 1:30-4 pm in their office located in the Van Buren County Courthouse in Keosauqua.

They say they have both Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines available.

It also reports the department does have self-test kits for COVID 19 virus available. The kits need to be activated online after pick up and are mailed to Iowa City (postage is paid).

They do take 2-4 days for results due to the mail time.
