A section of the bike/walk trail closed for 10 days in Ottumwa

OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) -Walkers and bikers will need to adjust their routines as a section of the trail system is closed.

Starting Tuesday, a section of the trail system from Bokey Drive (underneath the bridge by Ottumwa Water Works) to Gateway Drive will be temporarily closed.

Crews will be resurfacing portions of the trail. The work is expected to last ten days. Pedestrians or bicyclists are asked to respect the construction barricades.
