OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - The League of Women Voters of Ottumwa will hold a second candidate forum on Monday evening, October 18th, 2021 in the Council Chambers of Ottumwa City Hall.

All the candidates supported by the voters in the recent Primary election have all been invited. All have confirmed they will participate.

The candidates for mayor, Rick Bick and Rick Johnson, will face the voters at 6:30 p.m.

The candidates for City Council, Cara Galloway, Russ Hull, Doug McAntire, Ashley Noreuil, Sandra G. Pope, and Matt Pringle, will face the voters at 7:00 p.m.

Each candidate will make an opening statement, have equal time to respond to all questions and equal time to make a closing statement.

The League of Women Voters will ask the opening question. All subsequent questions will come directly from the audience at the Forum.

Upon entry to the Chambers, each person may write their question on a card provided by the League. League members will review the questions for clarity and redundancy. All questions must be signed.

GOTV will live stream the Forum in its entirety. It will also be on YouTube.

The General election is set for Tuesday, November 2nd.
