WAPELLO COUNTY, Iowa (KYOU) - Two people are okay following a farming accident involving a power line that left two people trapped inside a piece of farming equipment on Monday afternoon in Wapello County.

Emergency personnel responded to 12609 120th Avenue just before 6 pm.

They said a piece of farm equipment was loading beans into a semi when it clipped a power line causing the line to fall onto the equipment trapping the people inside.

Alliant Energy had to send a crew out to the scene to cut the power to the line in order for the two people to get out safely.

No injuries were reported.
