Johnson is Ottumwa’s next mayor; Pope, Galloway, McAntire will join City Council

OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - The City of Ottumwa’s results have come in for the City/School Election.
Rick Johnson will be Ottumwa’s next mayor winning 2,272 votes. Opponent Rick Bick received 1,026 votes.
Cara Galloway, Doug McAntire, and Sandra Pope will serve on the City Council.
Sandra G. Pope: 1,957 votes
Douglas David McAntire: 1,739
Cara Galloway: 1,589
Russ Hull: 1,188
Ashley Noreuil: 1,120
Matthew E. Pringle: 985
As Pope is the top vote-getter, she will join the council within 10 days of the election canvass.
