OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - A fairly pleasant day kicks off the weekend, with a fair amount of sunshine at times.

Temperatures should be above normal again, with highs in the low to mid 50s mostly. Clouds begin to build by evening, with winds gradually shifting to a more northerly direction.

Those winds begin to increase in intensity by later on Sunday, dragging in another colder airmass with it. Expect an early day high in the low 50s, with temperatures falling later in the day.

After a rather chilly start to the shortened workweek, highs climb into the 50s again for Tuesday into Wednesday. Another cold front, with little to no precipitation along it as it moves through, sends temperatures back below normal in time for Thanksgiving. The good news is that there appears to be very little, if any, travel impact throughout the holiday week.
