Stronger winds develop by Sunday afternoon
OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - A cold front is approaching from the north, which will be the trigger for stronger winds after about lunchtime.
These winds, gusting between 30 to 40 mph at times, will also begin to drop our temperatures after an early day high in the low 50s. A chilly night follows as winds become lighter, allowing lows to drop to the low to mid 20s.
Monday stays cool, though a relatively quick bounce-back to the 50s is expected for highs on Tuesday and Wednesday. Another cold front sends highs back to the 30s for Thanksgiving Day, though its overall impact on Midwest travel will be limited to rain that will mostly be southeast of here.
