Ottumwa Community Thanksgiving dinner information
OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - The Ottumwa Community Thanksgiving dinner is set for Thursday, November 25. The meal will be prepared at the Knights of Columbus located at 123 3rd Street, Ottumwa, Iowa.
This is a free meal made possible by the generous support of the Wapello County Foundation, John Deere Ottumwa Works, Rockman LLC, Baig Family, Lazio Family, Wal-Mart, Fareway, HyVee Stores, and many others.
Volunteers are welcome. The volunteers helping box up home-delivered meals should arrive by 9:15 am. Drivers for those meals should arrive by 9:30 am. Food serves for curbside pick-ups should arrive by 10:45 am. Clean-up helpers should be at the Knights of Columbus by 11:30 am.
Meals can be picked up curbside from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday. No reservations are needed.
Reservations are being taken until Wednesday, November 24.
