OTTUMWA, Iowa (KYOU) - Friday starts off quiet and cool with overnight lows into the upper 20s and low 30s. Through Friday, we will see partly to mostly cloudy skies overhead. By midday, look for scattered rain showers to begin moving in from the south. Rain continues throughout most of the afternoon. While precipitation looks to change over to snow or a wintry mix well to our north, it looks like everything we see Friday will be rain. Into the early hours of Saturday, temperatures could cool down enough for some snow to fall as far south as our area, though accumulation is still not widely expected with only trace amounts in far southern Iowa.
