KYOU-TV is the FOX, NBC, and The CW affiliated television station for the area of Southeastern Iowa and Northeastern Missouri. Licensed to Ottumwa, Iowa, it broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF Channel 15. KYOU sub-channels over the air are FOX 15.1, NBC 15.2, Circle 15.3, The CW Plus 15.4, Grit 15.5, and Justice 15.6.
KYOU first air date on television was June 2, 1986.

Often the Weather is the lead news story. Farmers and people in the cities all count on KYOU’s First Alert Weather App and our knowledgeable meteorologists to keep you on top of the weather. Each weeknight, KYOU News at Nine and at Ten, has a different, special segment, that focuses on topics important to our viewers in Southeastern Iowa and Northeastern Missouri. KYOU provides you the clearest radar images and we’re the first to let you know of weather troubles in our area.
Ottumwa and Kirksville are surrounded by opportunities in education like Indian Hills Community College, Maharishi University, Iowa Wesleyan College, and Truman State University. Additionally, they have rich work environments such as JBS, Cargill, John Deere, Pioneer, and Kraft Foods. Each city services their own airport as well as Amtrak. It’s with all these possibilities that Southeast Iowa and Northeast Missouri offer that makes the area such a unique place to live and visit as well as show to our viewers with KYOU News at Nine and Ten!
