Ervin Dohmen

Ervin Dohmen is a recent graduate of Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE. He joined the KTIV team in May of 2022.

Ervin is from Elgin NE, where he graduated from Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High School. While in high school he played many sports, causing his love for football and basketball to grow.

He eventually knew he wanted to keep those sports involved with his work life and went to study Sports Journalism at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. After a semester, he realized it wasn’t the right fit and moved closer to home where he majored in Broadcast Radio/TV. While at Northeast he was the VP and President of the Broadcasting/Media Arts Club. He was also the program director for the campus radio station, 101.7 The Nest.

Ervin is thrilled to be part of the team, and when he’s not busy bringing news to Siouxland he can be found working out, hanging out with friends, and watching sports!
